Clifford Hall

Clifford is a retiree of Federal and private sector employment.  He retired after 33 years in Federal sector assignments that included working for Department of the Air Force Materiel Command as Director of its Software Factory, where he led a staff of 1,200 personnel across three Air Logistics Repair Depots. The organization was responsible for software re-use, software process improvement, re-engineering, infusion of software development and maintenance tools, database, and platform migration across the command. This included management of over 45 million dollars in military information technology assets.  He was assigned under the Air Force as a System Program Director, responsible for the acquisition and implementation/improvement of Air Force weapons systems and equipment.  Other Air Force assignments included Program Manager for a contract data management system where he managed the acquisition and implementation of a contract and management platform, assisting customers in contract creation, and negotiation.  His last employment was as Vice President for the Ryan Consulting Group, located in Indianapolis, Indiana to include consulting services for Department of the Air Force, Defense Information System Agency and Health and Human Services, where he provided strategic leadership in program management; business process re-engineering; requirements definition; application software design and development; migration and integration.

 

Clifford is a native of Huntsville/Madison County Alabama and he currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama.  He attended elementary and high schools in Madison County, graduating from Councill Training School in 1962.   He Received an Associate of Science in Electronics from Alabama A&M University in 1964 and went on to achieve a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 1985.  Further educational pursuites include graduate from Senior Acquisition Course, Fort McNair, VA, and a Master’s of Science, Natural Resource Strategy from Industrial College of the Armed Forces, Fort McNair, VA in 1995.

Clifford is a recipient of the Air Force Meritorious Civilian Service Award, DOD Superior Management Award, and many Superior performance Awards

Clifford is a member of Defense Systems Management College Alumni Association, Armed Forces Communication Electronics Association, Association of Computing Machinery, Industrial College of Armed Forces Alumni Association, Faith in Action Alabama, and the BW Golf Group.  He is a member of the CTS Alumni Association where he serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors.

Clifford is married and father of two children and one grandchild.  He is a member of the Living Stones Temple where he serves as Chair, Couples Ministry, and a member of the Ministry Steering Group.
